A small hidden gem in this city !

Guest House hachi was definitely one of the most memorable places of our 4 weeks trip to Japan. We stayed in the big traditional Japanese room on the ground floor with the garden. Everything was perfect and the owners and other staff helped us out with all our questions, gave us valuable tips for our stay in Kyoto and the local restaurants around which we would have never found otherwise! The fish restaurant was so good we even went 3 times ! I would recommend everyone to spend some time here to feel the atmosphere and love of this house.

    Beyond our expectation!

My boyfriend and I spend 3 awesome nights at Guest House Hachi. The owners were wonderful, spoke perfect English and helped us a lot with secret places around the city. Definitely recommending this place to anyone as the atmosphere is just perfect. A big plus is it is only one stop away from Kyoto Station and the area is so peaceful with many local hot springs and family owned restaurants.
