Kharkiv Pride 2025

KharkivPride 2025 takes place from August 30 to September 6 under the slogan “Together to equality and victory.”

On September 5, the community will gather to honor the memory of LGBTQ+ soldiers who have lost their lives defending Ukraine. The commemoration stands as both a moment of grief and a declaration of resilience, ensuring their sacrifices are remembered within the wider struggle for freedom and equality.

The following day, September 6, KharkivPride will host its signature AutoPride - a car rally that adapts the traditional Pride march to the realities of wartime. Dozens of decorated vehicles will move through the streets of Kharkiv, bringing visibility to LGBTQ+ lives and voices while ensuring safety for participants.
Running alongside the Pride events is a fundraising campaign to support Ukraine’s Defense Forces. All proceeds from the collection will be directed to those on the front lines, linking the fight for LGBTQ+ rights with the broader defense of the country.

KharkivPride has already proven its ability to organize safe and visible celebrations under invasion conditions, and with collaboration from local authorities and police, 2025 aims to carry that legacy forward. In Kharkiv, Pride is both a protest and a promise: everything will be Ukraine, and everything will be Pride.
